Tasks

Engineering Culture
- Collaborate with the Tech Leadership to build a top-notch Engineering culture
- Be a manager of managers and help to build a strong leadership culture
- Create a high-performing and positive work environment based on transparency, accountability, and trust.
- Ensure engineering teams are led with a clear purpose aligned with organizational and customer needs
- Promote autonomy and mastery among engineering teams
- Monitor engineering teams’ health

Personal
- Recruit and retain top talent in local and remote locations
- Ensure high-quality onboarding of new team members
- Proactively recruit and hire consultants or freelancers if/when appropriate

Product planning
- Work side by side with a Head or Director of Product and collaborate with the Lead Engineers on the definition of goals and delivery strategies that meet organizational standards and needs
- Cross Domain collaboration and alignment
- Support constantly changing priorities between product features, availability, performance, security and reliability

Execution
- Drive key initiatives in the company being accountable for the execution
- Ensure high standards of delivery and operational excellence
- Delivery summarized reports on delivery and velocity
- Support process for incident management including quality control of RCAs

**Requirements**:

- Experience growing, coaching, mentoring and providing feedback to team members including difficult conversations
- Experience working on a rapidly evolving product in an agile environment
- Strong leadership, planning and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience working with multiple teams and a track record of influencing and delivering projects with company-level impact.
- Passionate about people, and improving the environment in which they work
- Experience managing multiple teams and managers
- Interested in working with a fast-paced and quickly growing company
- Language skills: English professional proficiency
