Sourcing Excellence Associate

**About the opportunity**:
In this role you will be part of the Global Sourcing Team. This team is responsible for the management of the source-to-pay process, for all of N26's external vendors.

The Process Excellence Associate will provide leadership throughout the establishment and roll-out of the new Procurement Mandate at N26, reporting directly to the Head of Sourcing. Project and time management skills will be required as you lead the transformation that will align with the Sourcing Team business unit goals and objectives.

The Process Excellence Associate will leverage sourcing tools and processes to facilitate audit follow up processes, plan projects and deliver the work packages required to ensure best in class Procurement Department for your colleagues and 100% sustainable and compliance at N26.

**In this role, you will**:

- Drive a compliance program, that will ensure that all projects deliver to the requirements
- Lead the re-design and transformation of the end-to-end contract lifecycle process at N26, by establishing sustainable processes for the signature, capture and compliant storage of all contractual documents at N26
- Manage one colleague, who will support the implementation and maintenance of Sourcing Excellence at N26
- This will be achieved by:

- Always considering the end-user at the heart of every decision
- Developing a contract signature portal solution that considers internal business requirements and that will integrate with our contract management tool (Workday) and ensure a full overview of supply contracts, including implementing various controls to ensure compliance
- Develop documentation and expertly steer the change management process to embed the transformed processes in the roll out to the organization
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across your project remit, operating as an extension of their team
- Identify, plan and execute projects that enable the N26 Sourcing Team to deliver to their KPIs and targets and manage the controls and reporting of the Sourcing Processes at N26
- This role will initially be focused on the implementation of the Procurement Mandate, which is expected to take ~18 months, and once completed will then take a broader view across all of the Sourcing Team process optimisation and transformation

**What you need to be successful**:

- 5+ years of professional experience, working in a structured Procurement environment
- You are a Bachelor/Master, in any field
- A 'can-do' attitude and a willingness to take on any task, no matter how big, or small
- The ability to see ahead and think in terms of possibilities; creates a clear vision and strategy, thinks broadly and understand interdependencies
- The ability to build relationships and credibility across the organisation; demonstrates managerial courage; leading through influence - not authority
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a problem-solving mindset, using data to support your decisions
- Creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems that may not have one clear answer

- Proven track record for the delivery of complex projects within challenging timeframes
