Teads is looking for a **Financial Controller** to join our finance team, based in Hamburg. Reporting to the CFO, you will play a pinnacle role in managing our successful financial day-to-day operations.

An ambassador for **_Teads_**, you will play a key part in understanding and strictly following regional financial regulations to ensure compliance and contributing to strategic financial business opportunities, that will continue our growth as a product and operationally, as a business.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Overseeing all bookkeeping
- Processing, banking, payments, general ledger transactions, reconciliation of factoring transactions, inter-company transactions
- Direct responsibility for month-end and year-end close process
- Treasury management including cash flow forecasting
- Preparation of statutory accounts, notes and disclosures
- Coordination of external and internal audits
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Manage and comply with required tax filings
- Management of monthly payroll, liaising with HR and external payroll bureau
- Implementation of _Microsoft Dynamics_ templates and ongoing development of management information systems, procedures, controls and reporting to aid decision-making and long-term planning

**Role requirements**:

- 3-5 years of experience
- Experience managing financial operations
- Experience in the Media or Ad Tech industry is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of _Microsoft Dynamics_
- Excellent _Excel_ skills
- ACCA fully/part qualified (desirable)
- Commercial-minded, with financial modelling skills
- Attention to detail, problem-solving & organisational skills
- Great communication & interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
- Team player, but also able to work independently using your own initiative, when needed
- Ability to work efficiently under deadlines
