If you are interested in utilizing your controlling and accounting knowledge as a Financial Controller (M/F/d) with a global function, then take a further look here.** **Vestas Deutschland GmbH>Finance>Financial Controlling** As Financial Controller (M/F/d) you will be part of the Financial Controlling team in region Northern and Central Europe (NCE) and collaborate closely with the rest of the Finance organisation in the NCE region but also with the Group Finance function in Copenhagen and Shared Service Center located in Manila. The Regional Finance team in NCE is covering business - and financial controlling activities for the region where NCE Finance Operations team is responsible for monthly IFRS reporting to Group and local statutory reporting for part of the region. As the Financial Controller (M/F/d) your main responsibilities will be controlling and accounting for entities within the Northern and Central Europe. The NCE region covers more than 40 legal entities i.e. Sweden, Norway, Denmark, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Poland, Romania and Czech. The wide span of legal entities in combination of a centralised finance function requires the finance team to be structured, motivated and open for continuous change. **Responsibilities** - Timely and efficient closing process and submission of monthly and annual reporting packages - Controlling of Balance Sheet and investigation of issues - Liaison with Shared Service Center and business to resolve financial queries and ensure improved operation - Development of Financial processes - Coordination and support of audit requests - Ensure adherence to Group financial processes, compliance rules/policies and Vestas guidelines - Work on initiatives to improve processes and ways of working within Financial Controlling or with cross-functional teams **Qualifications** - Relevant education / degree most likely within Finance, Controlling or similar combined with approximately 5 years' work experience from finance, in an international company - Skilled controlling and accounting skills - Knowledge and experience within SAP ERP FI & CO module - Fluent in English is a requirement and other European language would be an additional asset (current need: Polish, German, Swedish) **Competencies** - Efficient finance / accounting knowledge - A structured and organized way of working - Efficient communication skills - Positive attitude, motivated and good collaboration skills - Ability to keep the overview in a hectic and motivated environment - Motivated, motivated, open-minded and self-motivated - Established, service-minded and result-oriented **What we offer** We offer an exciting job with motivated opportunities for development in an inspiring environment at a growing wind turbine producer.
