Cluster Financial Controller

Reporting to the hotel GMs and Regional Finance Manager, Financial controller will manage the day-to-day accounting procedures of two hotels and act as business support to the other departments by streamlining processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency. The FC will be the link between the General Manager, the outsourced accounting team and the Regional Financial and Asset Manager Team. You will be playing an important role in the daily operations and will have the opportunity to shape the way you are controlling both costs and policies and ensuring the hotels are compliant with local legislation.
You will be based in the Reichshof Hamburg and travel once a month to Munich to K+K Am Harras.

The K+K Hotel am Harras in Munich is located in the heart of Sendling on the newly built Quartiersplatz with fountains, shopping facilities and a direct underground/S-Bahn connection. The charming hotel has 102 rooms and 2 conference rooms. The stylish, warm-colored furnishings and perfect all-round service ensure a pleasant stay.
Be hands-on and dynamic
Will hold P&L responsibility, costs, budgeting and forecasting
Able to review and implement procedure and SOPs to continually improve the business
Responsible for purchasing processes and control
Ensure all hotel brand standards and procedures are followed in accordance with law
Responsible for invoicing, cash management, accounts payables and receiveables, all financial operations within the hotel
Thrive in a culture of development and support recruitment, payroll processing and tax processing for both properties
Cost controlling in F&B department, be responsible for inventory processes within the hotel

An already exceptional track record driving business in a similar role with previous experience as Financial Controller in a branded hotel
Passionate, with a hands-on approach
Has a personal commitment to hospitality, customer service & quality
Strong business acumen combined with an excellent leadership and liaison skills
Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate across of levels
Fluent in German and English
