Team Lead Business Development

The data driven logistics department has the main task to manage a Europe-wide network of more than 200 logistics partners.
You will be working proactively and make the next step forward with us. In your new role as our Team Lead Business Development you will negotiate, calculate and implement new solutions to secure our transportation chain.
We are looking for you to work closely with our Director Logistics Europe Annelyse and manage the further improvement and diversification of our global logistics network.
Tasks
- Lead a team of 5 to 7 direct reports and design and execute business initiatives from the ground up and play a crucial part in implementing your ideas together with a highly motivated team
- Analyze optimization potential in different areas throughout our supply chain and create scalable improvements for profitability, operational efficiency, and customer experience
- Manage business relationships and negotiate strategic agreements with external partners across Europe
- Collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including senior and top management and become an expert in your areas of responsibility
- Manage various cross-functional projects powered by data-driven insights with the goal to overachieve
- Solve complex business situations on a tactical and strategic level and continuously challenge the status quo
**Requirements**:
- B.Sc./ M.SC. in Business, Economics, Logistics and Supply Chain or another related field of study paired with relevant working and leadership experience in a dynamic environment
- Passion about moving tasks forward, take full ownership of projects and leadership skills that inspire the people you work with to drive opportunities forward with full force
- Ability to manage priorities simultaneously to meet time-sensitive deadlines while staying within budget
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to summarize quantitative concepts into a digestible format
- Excellent communication skills to conduct negotiations with our external partners and manage them independently
- Fluency in English, business fluent in German is a plus
