**Thorough planning**: You will create a system model of a switched mode power supply (flyback converter)
- **Experience research**: You model and compare different operation patterns to operate the power converter in continuous and discontinuous mode
- **Reliable work**: You investigate seamless transitions from continuous conduction mode to discontinuous conduction mode and back
- **Study field**:You are currently studying Electronics, Electrical Engineering or similar
- **Experience**:You have experience with SPICE circuit modelling and simulations well as with switched mode power supplies
- **Skills**:You have basic knowledge on semiconductor devices
- **Way of working**:You are result-oriented and are able to do scientific work independently. You also like working in an international team
- **Language skills**:You have good English skills, German is a plus
- CV in English
- Certificate of enrollment at university
- Latest grades transcript (not older than 6 months)
- High school report
