In the **Software & Electronic Engineering** department, we develop new concepts for software and hardware solutions in the field of prosthetics and orthotics. As an **intern (d/f/m)**, you have the chance to support our team at the **Duderstadt site near Göttingen** and to work on diverse projects in medical technology that combine hardware and software. We will give you the necessary freedom for creativity and your innovative ideas.

Writing a subsequent thesis with us is generally possible.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Analysis and research of current technologies
- Generation of ideas for new products including feasibility testing
- Conceptual design, architecture and development of innovative software and hardware solutions in the medical technology environment
- (Further) Development of first prototypes
- Some example projects:

- Machine learning for the control of prostheses
- Augmented reality in the medical technology environment
- Automation of testing solutions
- Development of new electronic solutions for the control of mechatronic products.

**Profile**:

- Current studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, medical engineering or a comparable course of studies
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C++, C# or Python
- Interest in varied projects in medical technology that combine hardware and software or in modern software testing
- Ideally first experiences in the field of machine learning
