**Your plans for the future**

As Team Lead Engineering Management Germany & OTX, you are accountable for the provision of the required engineering, technical capabilities and solutions to provide Engineering Management and develop project interfaces for our development projects in Germany and for all OTX workstreams. Through day to day leadership you will provide guidance to the technical project team members of Offshore Wind projects, liaise with internal and external stakeholders and have a close collaboration to the country managers, as well as your Engineering management team. For this technical leadership, sharing know-how, best practice and lessons learnt between projects, as well as continuous improvement of the processes and approaches, will be key part of your role.

We are offering you, a team orientated and independent manager, the possibility of adjusting existing solutions to a regional fit and act as a bridging function in our international matrix organisation.

**Your main tasks
- Guide your team through their responsibility for definition, optimization and integration of the project design with due regard to safety and the project commercial drivers, schedule and budget; Technical sign-off of critical project design and concepts.
- Communicate the engineering input into the Project Description, Pre-FEED, permits and statutory consents during the project development phase
- Steer the contribution to bid strategy and development of technical requirements of initial work packages such as; preliminary site investigations, technical solution scope (incl. options like battery, green hydrogen and other innovations).
- Act as a key account to Offshore projects in development and construction, ensure the efficient and effective interface to stakeholders, including set-up of standardized processes/structures for the department
- Identify, develop and share best practice in the area of Engineering management & Project Interface engineering for Offshore projects and ensure it is applied in all projects; Identify and mobilize the right level of resources for engineering management, interface management and project interface engineering
- Develop, in close alignment with RWE Generation and the respective Development team, technical concepts for an OTX demonstrator in short term and large scale offshore wind projects in long term
- Closely align with Procurement, Development and RWE Generation to engage with the needed supply chain, especially hydrogen OEMs
- Support Development to secure national and international funding for research and demonstration projects.
- Maintain close interaction and alignment with construction and operations to ensure feasible OTX solutions and concepts across the full value chain.
- Define department KPIs and promote continuous process and tool improvement for own area of responsibility to support efficient and effective delivery of engineering work across Offshore project pipeline through development and construction in alignment with stakeholders.
- As leader and representative of RWE Offshore Engineering you are responsible to implement all RWE wide or RWE Offshore specific company programs, strategies and initiatives for your team and our department
- Support your team members and our Lead Experts as well as Chief Engineers/Scientists with the development and improvement of internal and external as well as national and international norms and standards Ensure your team stays motivated and informed during technical project ‘sprints’ as defined by your project plan, to ensure aspects such as LCOE, constructability and operability have been appropriately considered and assessed
- **Your profile**
- In addition to a completed degree in economics or engineering, business administration or technology, you have gained in-depth knowledge and job-related experience.
- In the past, you have consistently demonstrated your abilities in a comparable position.
- You have significant experience in technical project management across Development and Construction phases of large-scale and complex projects, relatable to wind offshore projects
- In depth knowledge and experience from an OTX OEM is an advantage
- You have experience in business development for Offshore technical concepts, the respective market analysis and their negotiations to develop a technically and commercially optimized solution
