As a result, we have an exciting opportunity for a Germany-based Market Lead who can shape our future in the region. We are seeking an affiliate marketing industry expert with extensive experience in the German market.

**LOCATION**:
The Market lead, Germany, is a 100% remote working role, as are all positions at Acceleration Partners (a structure central to our culture and our vision to change the work/life paradigm). Some travel is necessary for client meetings, team gatherings, conferences etc.

**THE ROLE**:
The Market Lead is responsible for developing our growth strategy in Germany, working closely with senior leaders within the wider business. This is a newly created role, and this person will help shape the future of the AP business in Germany.

**Top 5 Job Responsibilities**:

- **SUPPORT TALENT ACQUISITION - **Support the central HR team to develop successful strategies to attract, retain and develop local talent. Advise on job roles, salaries, benefits, training and development, and support the interview process. Ensure that AP is best positioned in the market to find, recruit and retain the best talent in Germany.
- **SUPPORT SALES & MARKETING, AND BE THE THOUGHT LEADER FOR GERMANY - **Work closely with the central sales & marketing teams to identify new opportunities and speak to prospective clients, partners, and publishers. Represent AP at all relevant events and develop and build valuable relationships with platform partners, networks, brands, and affiliates in the German market. Help build our reputation as the world's biggest and best partner marketing agency.
- **SUPPORT GLOBAL STRATEGY INITIATIVES AND GLOBAL ALIGNMENT - **Work with the Global Strategy team to understand critical initiatives relevant to the German market and help identify new opportunities. Ensure the execution of new initiatives within the market is consistent with the wider AP business and aligns with global best practices and processes.
- **TEAM LEADERSHIP - **Understand the cultural differences in the market and help the Senior leadership Team and senior members of staff navigate these to best support our employees, partners, and clients in the German market. Support the team in the German market to ensure they have visibility into the broader business, are integrated into the global culture and feel connected with the overall business and its people.

**What Success Looks Like**:
**By 6 Months**The Market Lead has fully integrated themselves into the AP business and is seen as the expert and spokesperson for the German market. You are improving our brand as an employer of choice in Germany by optimising our recruitment, retention and employee development and supporting sales and marketing to enhance our profile in Germany.

**By 1 Year** The Market Lead can show improvements in our hiring process, retention, training and development and our profile within the market. This is demonstrated through tangible improvements in attracting, retaining and developing strong local talent. You have built good relationships internally and externally and are the thought leader and spokesperson on behalf of AP for the German market. A positive business impact is demonstrated through more client revenue being attributed to Germany.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**:

- 10+ years of affiliate marketing experience required with German market experience
- Proven leadership track record with experience interviewing, hiring, developing, coaching and performance management of direct reports
- Knowledge of general affiliate tracking methodologies via platform partners (Awin, CJ, Impact, Partnerize etc.)
- Ability to travel up to 25%, including to international locations
- Advanced Excel capabilities, comfortable with formatting, formulas, customising reports etc.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent business speaking language skills in German and English

- **Industry Expertise and Analysis**: The ability to forecast industry growth and examine trends in the German market. Identify opportunities, conduct consumer segmentation analyses, and collect competitor intelligence where possible
- **Brand Development**: Uses knowledge of German market-specific brand development and positioning tactics and brand awareness
- **Data Analysis**:Ability to analyse and draw insights from relevant data to identify organisational challenges and opportunities related to the German market for affiliate marketing. Uses storytelling to communicate insights and actionable, data-informed recommendations effectively.
