Head of Region

**Your mission**:
As Head of Region, you will take on responsibility for the local activities around the end-to-end planning and execution of the FTHH fiber role out projects, which are central UGG’s growth. As part of the COO organization, you will lead an interdisciplinary team on Expansion (commercial) and Deployment (technical) Managers and are actively involved in central management decisions and coordinate their execution. As well you establish and maintain a network to the political decision makers and the public administration stakeholders. You represent UGG in your region.
- Management and coordination of cross-functional projects and their teams with a high strategic relevance for the growth of our company
- Develop regional market operations and relationship management to regional stakeholders
- Identification of risks within your projects as well as proactive search for solution options, which you develop with your regional team and coordinate with the COO and CTIO offices
- Representative regional fiber lead towards external stakeholders
- Preparation of forecasts and decision templates
- Acting as internal interface to other corporate divisions to ensure a uniform appearance of UGG

**Your profile**:

- Degree with a focus on business/network engineering/electrical systems. Alternatively, a successfully completed technical vocational training combined with professional experience in these areas
- Proven 3-7 years of professional experience in project management (e.g. management consulting, project lead in fiber optics market)
- Experience with projects in the interface between commercial issues and technology / IT an advantage. It will be positively valuated experience in project management with several stakeholders internal, external and specially with Authorities.
- Ideally, initial experience and knowledge of the telecommunications industry and a basic understanding of the market for fiber rollout and the regulatory framework
- Agile and solution-oriented mindset as well as the motivation to take a technical leadership role on key issues
- Good communication skills in German & English (verbal and written)
