Data Lead

As Data Lead / Head of Data, you will get to lead the charge and take a crucial role in shaping Qwist’s future.**

The position follows a hybrid working schedule with semi-regular in-person events and meetings onsite. If you are not currently close to one of our offices, we’re happy to support your relocation. We have two offices, both located in Germany; one in the beautiful Bavarian city of Munich and the second in the German capital Berlin (HQ).

**What you will be doing**:

- Owning Qwist’s Data Products
- Exploring new and innovative ways to translate data into value and great products
- Owning Qwist’s BI strategy and implementation, defining how we gather and use internal data to make better decisions
- Leading a team of data analysts, data engineers and data scientists, ensuring efficiency, quality and good vibes
- Providing data consulting services to help solve problems within the organization
- Work closely with the individual Product Managers from different Product lines to create insights and craft additional value
- Working with or CTPO to develop and execute Qwist’s Data Strategy
- As part of Qwist’s product leadership, you will help determine Qwist’s product strategy

**What you bring to the team**:

- Proven experience working in Data-related roles
- Proven experience in team leadership
- Understanding of Product Management techniques and how they are applied in growing start-ups & scale-ups
- Experience with BI tools (Looker a plus)
- Technical background in data analysis, data science or data engineering is a plus
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Experience in developing and executing strategy
