Data Platform Lead

**Your role in a team**:

- Architecting our Data team: Lead and mentor a team of analytics and data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration within our different teams and departmental analysts to provide data-driven insights.
- Promote Data-Driven Culture: Advocate for a data-driven culture organization-wide, promoting data literacy and decision-making based on data insights.
- Strategic Data Contribution: Shape the data strategy, with a focus on our data platform (Data Infrastructure, Data Warehouse and analytics platform).
- Data Governance & Compliance: Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.

**What you need to be successful**:

- Experience:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics or business intelligence
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or team management role, demonstrating the ability to lead and mentor a team effectively
- Background / Experience with Performance Marketing or other Marketing related roles
- Technical Skills:

- Advanced proficiency in SQL and dbt for data modeling and transformation
- Knowledge of Python for scripting and data manipulation
- Experience with modern cloud-based data stacks (e.g. Airflow)
- (Optional) Familiar with current cloud-based (data) infrastructures (AWS, Terraform, etc.)
- Communication Skills:

- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively
- Experience in project management
- Continuous Learning:

- A commitment to staying updated with the latest trends and developments in analytics, data engineering, and related fields
- Team Player:

- A collaborative and supportive mindset, fostering a positive team culture and mentorship within the team
