The Trader will be responsible for performing all transactions for our mandates - focus Fixed Income and FX - Cash and Derivatives. It is a front office focused role, and the team will interact and collaborate closely with portfolio managers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Trading of Fixed Income and FX transactions (cash and derivatives) using a mixture of high-touch and low-touch execution methods
- Responsible for performing orders in line with our best execution and risk management practices, policies and procedures
- Close collaboration with portfolio managers and adding value by identifying actionable investment and liquidity opportunities and best approach for trade implementation
- Process passive and systematic overlay strategies (create, maintain and unwind hedging strategy for clients)
- Generating TCA reports and tracking various trading and portfolio related information on a daily basis
- Keep up to date with developments of market structure (including regulatory changes and requirements), trading practices, technology and liquidity providers
- Build reliable and active trading relationships, being central point of contact for external market participants
- Take ownership for optimization and projects in order to continuously improve trading processes including the use of TCA

**Qualifications**:

- University degree in economics or comparable as well as more than 5 years of experience in of relevant trading experience, ideally across a wide area of instruments
- Sound and broad understanding of Fixed Income and FX market structures and trading strategies - cash and derivatives
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure, with strict deadlines combined with strong risk awareness
- Good knowledge of regulatory, operational, liquidity and investment risks
- Strong decision-making ability (situational, fast) and quick thinking to resolve difficult implementation situations
- Progressive pro-technology mindset and ability to leverage technology to improve effectiveness and efficiency
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively and efficiently within all stakeholders in both German and English
