**Responsibilities**:

- Executing of transactions in foreign exchange across all products - spot, forward, options - in line with our best execution and risk management practices
- Close collaboration with portfolio managers, adding value by identifying actionable investment opportunities and best approach for trade implementation
- Management of existing FX exposures in passive and systematic overlay strategies
- Prepare transaction cost reports and presentations related to market conditions or trading activities, contribution to the investment process.
- Keep up to date with developments of market structure (including regulatory changes and requirements), trading practices, technology and liquidity providers
- Build reliable and active trading relationships, being central point of contact for external market participants, esp. sell/side market makers, vendors and trading platforms
- Take ownership for optimization and projects in order to continuously improve trading processes

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in foreign exchange at a prominent buy-side or sell-side institution, with sound understanding of FX market structures
- Academic degree in economics or comparable, strong academic credentials and achievements
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail, combined with a strong risk awareness
- High level of decision-making ability (situational, fast), with the ability to remain calm and objective despite market environment
- Progressive pro-technology mindset and ability to leverage technology to improve effectiveness and efficiency
- Strong communication and teamworking skills, good sense of humor and business proficiency in German and English are required
