In this role, you will be responsible for leading the** Accounting Team **as well as take over the** balance sheet accounting**. **Job Description**: **Your mission...** As **Accounting Lead**, you will closely work with **the rest of the Finance department,** and you will report directly to our **VP Finance**. We’re dedicated to find someone who is accurate, not afraid to take on challenges and interested in **leading and developing his/her team members**. Your day-to-day will also consist of mainly these topics: **Bring our accounting structures to the next level**: - You ensure the operational excellence of the day-to-day accounting and compliance with accounting regulations according to HGB and local GAAP - You drive the establishment, further development and standardization of accounting processes including compliance and risk management **Be a role model for your team and lead them to excellence** - You manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure that there is adequate backup in place for every critical operation - You provide leadership and professional development to junior members of the team - You will be involved in cross-functional special projects and act as a deputy for the company's VP Finance - You will prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for our entities in Germany and abroad (DE, USA, SRB, GB) in accordance with local-GAAP and the local accounting team in the relevant locations. - You are responsible for consolidation of group accounts with a big four and implementing consolidation within Lucanet - You actively participate in ongoing financial accounting (debtors, accounts payable, bank, cash register, payment runs, advance sales tax returns, summary reports) **Qualifications**: - Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience preferably in a Start Up or fast growing environment - Strong time-management skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines - Resilience and passion working in a fast-paced environment - Experience in leading a team & passion for leadership.
