INTERNSHIP - RADAR BASED OBJECT IN THE AREA OF AUTONOMOUS DRIVING (M/W/D)
In this role, you will support our R&D team with a focus on logistic vehicles. Topics such as autonomous driving, connected vehicles, intelligent logistics and e-mobility are being promoted. You will also engage with our partners, suppliers and customers leveraging your academic knowledge, methods and tools.
You will engage in various computer vision tasks related to Autonomous Driving in logistic yards. You will have the opportunity to tailor your work based on your interests, involving the development, implementation and testing of radar-based object detection methods.
Your tasks
- Test the algorithms in real-world environments
- Collaborate closely with the hardware team to configure vehicles or robots with the required sensor setups
- Systematically collect data necessary for both development and testing phases
- Work closely with our R&D team to contribute directly to ongoing development efforts
What you bring
- Studies in the field of computer science, robotics, mechatronics or similiar
- Practical experience with programming languages such as Phyton or C++
- Practical experience with sensors, espacially radars are valuable
- Experience with software versioning tools like git are appreciated
- Experience with robotic frameworks like ROS2 will be considered an advantage
- Interest in the domain logistic and logistic vehicles
