IN A NUTSHELL
Our in-house creative team is responsible for the brand’s visual presence on all Design Hotels platforms and innovates and develops a full range of campaigns, shoots, digital & print publishing, events, websites, products, and brand initiatives. Our designers play an important role within Design Hotels creative team, producing standout executions for global brand communications that speak to the contemporary luxury market. The objective is to ensure high standards of the representation of the brand and to bring in unexpected ideas and perspectives, while being a solid support figure to the art directors.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
The core skills we seek are in the area of editorial design—namely, the ability to layout photography and design to build engaging visual stories for our range of print platforms and brand campaigns, as well as for our digital publishing and social media platforms.

In the position you report directly to the Art Director and Director of Brand Management and maintain a strong collaboration and information exchange with the Creative & Design, Brand Management, Brand Communication, Digital Marketing, and Sales teams.

**Main focus**
- Developing the brand’s visual identity, including the annual magazine, DIRECTIONS, The Design Hotels Book, advertising campaigns, film productions, and partnerships
- Development and implementation of artwork for internal and external communications in both print and digital media
- Lead design-focused discussions and cross-functional co-creation sessions

**Additional tasks**
- Design for multiplatform brand & launch campaigns
- Brand stories for the Design Hotels social media channels, in particular for the Instagram gallery and Instagram stories
- Upkeep designs for a range of B2C platforms, like the Gallery and Online Store

EXPERIENCE & MINDSET
- A degree in graphic design
- Longtime experience in the field of design & lifestyle
- Passion for the world of art, design, architecture, and travel and inspired by the latest developments in the field
- Excellent sense of typography and layout with a focus on print design
- Photography and photo-editing skills
- Well-organized multitasker, with a keen eye for detail
- Independent, resourceful, and openminded
- Ability to work effectively and independently with a strong commitment to teamwork
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Fluent in English
