We are in search of an exceptionally creative and seasoned **Senior Product Designer (f/m/d)** to join our dynamic team. Your main role will be to craft intuitive, innovative, and human-centered design solutions for our suite of insurtech products, with an emphasis on self-service features. This role requires a deep understanding of the user journey, proactive involvement in user research, and active collaboration with cross-functional teams for product ideation, conceptualization, and development.

**In this role you will**:

- **Crafting User Experience**:Devise self-service features that transform complex insurance tasks like claims and policy management into effortless user interactions.
- **Product Development**:Actively engage in the discovery and ideation phase, defining the user problem through rigorous user research and translating insights into compelling product features using wireframes and prototypes.
- **User Testing & Design Iteration**: Conduct user testing to refine design solutions, develop final high-fidelity mockups, and collaborate closely with Product Managers and engineers to implement the final design.
- **Design Consistency**: Work in synergy with designers from other customer-facing teams to maintain a cohesive UX and UI design language across all products.
- **Design System Contribution**: Be a part of our design system evolution, create and review new components, document their interaction patterns, and ensure a seamless flow for developers.
- **Mentorship**: Guide junior designers, helping them hone their design skills and understand the nuances of design-to-development handoffs.
- **Product Definition**: Collaborate closely with PMs and engineers to define and scope what is being built, and importantly, what isn't being built.

**What you bring**:

- Proven track record in crafting captivating designs; experience in insurTech or finTech is a significant plus.*
- Proficient in using design and prototyping tools like Figma to bring your design ideas to life.
- Strong experience in working with and contributing to a design system (Design tokens).
- An empathetic designer who uses a blend of qualitative and quantitative research methods to drive user-centred design decisions.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to articulate design decisions and their impact effectively.
- A start-up mindset: Thrives in fast-paced environments, embraces ambiguity, and takes initiative to drive projects forward.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across various functions in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple stakeholders, and demonstrate leadership both independently and as part of a team.
