The Hertie School in Berlin prepares exceptional students for leadership positions in government, business, and civil society. We seek to fill the position of
**Administrative Assistant to the Managing Director (f/m/div)**
on a part-time (30 hours/week) basis.
The contract shall commence as soon as possible and is initially limited for two years, with the option of an unlimited contract afterwards.
Your tasks:
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Managing Director
- Manage the office with administrative assistant responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for all Hertie School units and external partners related to the office of the Managing Director
- Coordinate and prepare board meetings as well as Jour fixe meetings with the different departments
- Organise annual Hertie staff events (Summer party, Christmas Dinner)
- Draft correspondence, reports and/or presentations
Your profile:
- A highly empathetic, open personality, who builds rapport quickly and always keeps a positive attitude
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills as well as intercultural competence
- Solid office management experience
- Excellent English and German skills, additional languages very welcome
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in the Humanities or related fields, or completed vocational training as administrative assistant or similar
- Very good organizational abilities and time management
- Very good MS-Office skills
