The Global Client Group covers Distribution, Consultant Relations, Relationship Management, Client Servicing, and Learning & Development, and aims to deliver a ‘One Nuveen’ experience to our global client base. The Global Client Group is focused on establishing new relationships within the Institutional and Wealth channels while deepening relationships with existing clients. Nuveen targets the largest sources of investment capital around the world. Our teams are global, with in market presence in the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific regions.

About the Global Client Services Group

Global Client Services strives to make it easier for our clients to work with Nuveen - and to increase client retention and satisfaction. Global Client Services works to enhance our overall client experience and specifically oversees and improves new client boarding, day-to-day servicing requirements, investment reporting and capital-markets support. In addition to day-to-day servicing needs, the Global Client Services organization also oversees our New Business and Retention Services practice, which aims to deliver high quality information requests to showcase our investment capabilities to prospective and existing client and consultant relationships.

About Private Fund Services

Key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a first-class client service, always seeking ways to improve the client experience- Working with investment teams, building relationships and knowledge of the funds and mandates to support our investors proactively- Supporting the onboarding of new investors including interfacing with Legal, Distribution and Relationship Management and Third-Party Administrators- Frequent written and oral interaction with internal and external organizations, including institutional investors- Managing client relationships: responding to client queries and requests promptly and effectively; working with clients on inquiries and ensuring client expectations are met- Collaborating with Accounting and 3rd party Fund Administrators to assist with investor activity; and coordination of client statements and notices- Coordinate with internal business partners to satisfy custom client reports- Ensuring that regulatory and fund document deadlines are met while adhering to all procedures and quality control- Responsibility for identifying, communicating and resolving problems for any issues affecting the client experience- Participating in relevant projects across the department, particularly those which look to mitigate risk, improve operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional client service

Technical Skills & Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree required with minimum 5 years’ experience- Experience in client servicing activities preferable- Private capital or private equity experience preferredCompetencies Required:
- Excellent oral and written skills. Strong relationship management skills- Attention to detail; strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks with the ability to multi-task and work efficiently to meet client deliverables.- Proven success with and a passion for providing exceptional customer service- Must be highly motivated and capable of working independently with the ability to perform well under pressure- Be a strong team player- Act in line with Nuveen’s Company Values
