Managing Director, Germany

Reporting to the CEO, your mission is to lead and develop the German-Austrian entity, with a focus to build and grow Neoss’s business, reputation, market share and best value for the clients.
Your main responsibilities are:
- **Team Management and leadership**: Lead and inspire your team of sales, marketing, customer service, Finance and Administration, monitor and develop their performance, while developing the right sales approach to the market, and providing them with the appropriate resources and training to succeed in their role and grow.
- **Business strategy, market needs, opportunity Identification**:Identify, with your sales and marketing team, clients’ and market’s needs and trends, the competitive landscape. Develop sound business strategies and initiatives, present them to the senior leadership team for discussion and validation.
- **Budget planning**: Provide annual sales and financial budget and forecast to the senior leadership team and report any discrepancy from the budget with proposal of corrective actions.
- **Operations planning and execution**:Build the Annual Operating Plan in connection with the business strategic plan and budget and drive your team towards effective execution while managing operational and cost effectiveness.
- **Communication & Promotion Strategies and plans**:Lead, in close collaboration with the Global VP Marketing, the development and implementation of effective promotion and communication strategies to establish and maintain brand visibility and market position and support the sales force, including trade shows, sales arguments and tools, literature, catalogues and website.
- **Stakeholders’ management**: Interact and cooperate with key stakeholders who are involved in the business, in order to streamline efforts and resources, meet market needs and business goals.

- Entrepreneurial, agile and business minded leader with positive energy and drive, action and result oriented, you are capable to deliver with a clear customer focus, to drive and empower your sales team with the right sales and market approach and engage your team for success.
- You have a solid network, a trustful and inspiring leadership style which allow you to succeed in business, combined to an entrepreneurial growth mindset allowing you to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem solver with ability to provide pragmatic solutions, you are collaborative and have strong interpersonal and influential leadership skills, allowing you to manage efficiently key stakeholders and challenging situations. You communicate in a clear and inspiring way and lead by example.
- Strategic and operational with a hands-on and pragmatic approach, you have the ability to formulate business and market strategy, while planning priorities and resources and securing implementation effectively.
You have also:
- Extensive experience in sales and business development leadership roles in the medical devices sector, ideally in the dental industry, with strong track record in building and leading high-performing teams.
- Experience in general management with full P&L responsibility.
- Experience driving operational excellence and turn-around situations, resulting in improved business performance and profitability.
- Fluency in German and English
