Controller - Financial Planning & Defense Sector Compliance (M/w/d)

**Your mission**:

- Oversee financial controlling, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure financial health and strategic growth
- Analyze financial performance, cost structures, and profitability across defense contracts and commercial projects
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, ITAR, FAR/DFARS, and NATO procurement financial regulations
- Develop and monitor KPIs, cash flow management, and cost optimization strategies
- Implement internal financial controls, audits, and risk assessments to enhance compliance and efficiency
- Support pricing strategies and cost calculations for UAV systems, SaaS monetization, and long-term contracts
- Collaborate with accounting, tax, and legal teams to align financial reporting with regulatory requirements
- Work with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) to streamline financial processes

**Your profile**:

- 5+ years experience in controlling, financial planning, or strategic finance
- Strong expertise in cost accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
- Experience with defense sector financial management, contract accounting, and multi-year budgeting
- Proficiency in ERP systems, financial modeling, and data-driven decision-making
- Knowledge of government contracts, export control-related financial reporting, and risk management

Nice to have
- Experience in defense, aerospace, or dual-use technology financial planning
- Background in financial risk assessment for high-tech and government-funded projects
- Knowledge of public funding structures, grants, and defense R&D financing (DARPA, EDF, EU Horizon, NATO programs)
