**Duties**:
Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance issued by the Department of State (DOS). Manage Residential Security Program to include developing and tracking funding/budgets and liaising with other sections to ensure that all short-term leases and government-owned housing meets Post's security standards. Maintains the Residential Security database, approves minor security upgrades, and recommends major upgrades and installations. Attends Inter-Agency Housing Board and ICASS meetings and provides briefings/guidance as required. Maintains the closed-circuit television (CCTV) and emergency notification systems at the Consulate's housing compound, the Carl Schurz Siedlung (CSS). Assists with the Assistant Regional Security Officer (ARSO) in overseeing the residential security program's budget. Provides administrative support as needed.

**Qualifications and Evaluations**:

- Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: One year of experience in the security field is required. Technical expertise in the installation of alarm systems and experience in procurement and the management of budgets is beneficial, but not necessary.
- Education Requirements:
Successful completion of Secondary School is required.
- Evaluations:
Language: English Fluent - Reading/Writing/Speaking is required. This may be tested.

Pre-hire Skills and Abilities: Must possess a valid German class B Driver's License.
