Lead UX Researcher

As a Lead UX Researcher, you will lead the UX Research team and investigate cross-functional topics to understand people needs and inform the strategy to inspire and empower people to find, buy, and wear their glasses with joy and confidence.

As a part of the Experience Design team, you will collaborate with fellow UX Researchers, Product Designers, and UX Writer, growing the design practice and nurturing a human-centered mindset across the whole company.

What you can expect
- Work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams together with products managers, developers, data and collaborate with fellow UX Researchers, Product Designers, UX Writers, brand and marketing
- Plan and run research initiatives to discover human insights, generate recommendations and opportunity areas bringing the human lens to the decision-making process
- Inform product decisions leveraging qualitative and quantitative research insights and discover opportunities to improve our omnichannel experience
- Manage the UX Research team. Lead, mentor and coach fellow UX Researchers
- Develop processes and best practices to continually generate insights and recommendations
- Collaborate in evolving the Research OPS field inside the company
- As a part of the Experience Design team, you will grow the design practice and culture, and nurture a human-centered approach across the whole company

What you should bring
- Have proven experience in planning and running multiple research initiatives that drove customer and business value creation - years of experience are not a very reliable metric for your skills
- Master both qualitative and quantitative research methods. You have experience in conducting user tests, interviews, leveraging data, and generating actionable insights that are digestible from the broader organization
- Think omnichannel - you can plan and run research initiatives in both stores and digital world connecting the dots across the online and offline journey
- Have experience working with people from all types of backgrounds and expertise in a cross-functional and agile environment; especially in working closely with product managers, data scientists, marketing, brand and fellow product designers
- Facilitate and communicate clearly and convincingly in English. You are confident in sharing knowledge and insights, explaining planning rationales, building common understanding involving stakeholders, and spreading excitement around customers’ needs
- Keep the ego off, be a team player and are comfortable with giving and receiving feedback - you’ll be working with amazing people, and we’ll grow all together
- Have remote work experience and you can strive in both virtual and in-person collaboration
