Purpose of your JobAre you looking for a career in research & development of biopharmaceuticals or in general in the pharmaceutical industry?Then join Coriolis Pharma and contribute with state-of-the-art capillary electrophoresis analytics to our formulations and lyophilization processes for biopharmaceutical drugsYou will join a highly motivated, interdisciplinary team performing contract research and development for customers in the (bio) pharmaceutical industry worldwide.You will be a vital part of our contract research organization – where you will support & learn from our scientific operations teams – to enable our clients in their journey of developing innovative drugs.Come be part of our operational team – apply nowYour ResponsibilityAs Senior Scientist you are - together with the project team - responsible for the successful development and execution of capillary electrophoresis (CE) analysis for our customers worldwide.  Responsible—as subject matter expert—for supporting client project acquisition and execution with expertise to ensure high-quality services.Accountable for the electrophoretic characterization of biopharmaceutical molecules (proteins, peptides, nucleic acids) within client projects, including the de novo development of CE methods and the interpretation of data in context with other analytical approaches (such as LC-MS or LC-IEX).Maintain cutting-edge scientific knowledge in CE and related areas and drive CE innovation to meet evolving business needs, including new business areas and novel molecular modalities.Work cooperatively across Coriolis teams (e.g., business development, finance, technical support team) to ensure seamless collaboration with all operational groups during client project execution.Function as project leader for assigned client projects, overseeing project planning, method implementation, development, characterization, data evaluation, and reporting activities.What you need to succeedUniversity degree in analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, (bio)chemistry, or a related field; a PhD related to separation sciences—ideally focused on CE applications / method development and associated areas—is preferredMinimum 5 years of industry experience (with PhD in a relevant field) or 9 years (without PhD) with in-depth knowledge of biopharmaceutical characterization by CE (CE-SDS, CZE, cIEF) using UV, PDA, LIF, or FLD detectionSeveral years of hands-on experience with CE instruments from different vendors (e.g., Sciex, BioTechne/ProteinSimple, Agilent, etc.)Proven experience in developing, transferring, and troubleshooting CE (and associated) analytical methods in an industry setting, including both R&D and GMP environmentsDemonstrated project management skills, including resource management, multitasking, prioritization, and risk managementStrong lateral leadership capabilities, with leading by example as a natural approachHands-on, proactive mindset with openness to new ideas and tasks; a can-do attitude is essentialTeam-oriented personality with strong motivational and interpersonal skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishWhy to join Coriolis?Let’s formulate innovation together…Our success & development is created by the people working together @Coriolis.
