To meet our ambitions and goals, we are actively growing our research team and we are looking specifically for a **Research Associate **to join us. With this position, we offer you an opportunity to actively contribute to our research projects by driving forward and completing the necessary lab studies to further develop our technology. **Your tasks**:

- Execute research studies on mRNA optimization and nanoparticle formulation screening,
- Carry out necessary characterization activities and _in vitro _tests such as cell culture, transfection studies,
- Identify research issues, opportunities, and possible improvements,
- Plan, execute, and analyse data of experiment and following the company’s documentation standards,
- Present research results in group meeting,
- Carry out general laboratory management activities such as ordering raw materials and consumables as needed.

**Your profile**:

- You have a strong hands-on mentality and like to work in a multi-disciplinary team,
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutics, or closely related disciplines,
- You are reliable, organized, and work thoroughly,
- You have proven problem-solving skills,
- You have good written and spoken English skills and good command of the German language,
- It’s a plus, if you have experience working with nucleic acids, drug delivery formulations, or Design of Experiment (DoE) but more importantly you are a quick in picking up on things and always willing to learn something new.
