**Your team**

BPaaS (Business Process as a Service) is a strategic Avaloq service line providing Banking Operations outsourcing services to banks. Organized as a global Business Area, our Germany based organization looks for the growing German market and runs state-of-the art Backoffice services with industry leading automation, quality, and risk standards. Our highly skilled and experienced staff is covering the full suite of services including securities, payments, corporate actions and tax, to name a few.

We are looking for an experienced Manager who acts as our Local Head of BPaaS Germany. You oversee the operations in Germany (no disciplinary responsibility) and ensure BPaaS representation on regional management level, in the global BPaaS management team as well as towards our clients and partners. Your role builds the instrumental interface between the various stakeholders and is key for the success of our service. You have a direct reporting line to the Head of BPaaS.

**Your mission**
- Be the local BPaaS senior in Germany and act a cross-functional manager
- Represent BPaaS and its interests in the regional Avaloq management meetings as well as in strategic projects
- Act as the BPaaS senior manager in local client meetings, care about our client’s satisfaction and proactively handle potential issues
- Ensure an inspiring communication with the local BPaaS operational management team and handle local specifics together with the team
- Help building a strong talent pipeline and making BPaaS a most attractive place to work
- Be a change agent and role model to drive transformation and business development
- Support the implementation of strategic efficiency and growth initiatives as well as achieving the financial targets
- Ensure the BPaaS related third party vendor management
- Foster a culture of openness and excellence for cross-functional and -regional collaboration

**Qualifications**:
**What you need**
- University degree with profound knowledge of the financial industry, preferably in the Banking Operations and/or outsourcing business
- 10+ years of professional experience with proven track in senior (leadership) positions
- Strong sense of responsibility and solution orientation (“can do attitude”) with high level of integrity and reliability as well as self-confident and communicative personality
- IT affinity and process-oriented mind with comprehension of complex situations and strategic analytical thinking skills along with assertiveness and a creative mindset
- Business fluent in English and German
