Our client, a well-established international leader in retail display solutions, is seeking a **Field Sales Executive** to drive growth within the independent retail sector. This is a strategic sales role focused on building strong relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and increasing market presence through the company’s premium products and services.

**About the Role**

As Field Sales Executive, you will take ownership of a defined territory, working closely with both existing and prospective clients. Your mission: to support sustainable sales growth and profit development through excellent relationship management, compelling sales presentations, and effective project coordination.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Drive new customer acquisition and develop existing client accounts at the store level
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail decision-makers (“lighthouse retailers”)
- Deliver engaging, tailored sales presentations and proposals
- Coordinate with internal sales support to prepare quotes, reports, and meeting follow-ups
- Monitor customer portfolios, including product/service usage and pricing
- Collaborate with clients on project timelines and deliverables
- Provide bi-weekly updates to the Country Manager on sales pipeline, opportunities, and risks
- Forecast quarterly sales and contribute to annual strategic planning
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences as a brand representative
- Install and follow up on product trials and test installations
- Monitor competitors and share market intelligence internally

**What We’re Looking For**

**Knowledge & Background**
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of retail operations
- Existing network within independent retail, specifically supermarkets
- Retail and brand presentation experience is desirable

**Experience**
- Minimum 3 years of field sales experience, within retail or capital goods
- Demonstrated success in customer relationship management and solution selling
- Confident presenter with experience in sales forecasting and reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; high attention to detail
- Fluent in German; competent in English

**Additional Requirements**
- Valid driving licence
- Willingness to travel nationally (75%+) and occasionally abroad
