**Position overview**:
Head of Logistics in allnex provides leadership and accountability for overall strategic and tactical activities of global Logistic function inclusive of warehousing, 3PL and trade compliance activities across geographies, in alginment with allnex strategic goals.
You will lead the development of logistic and warehousing strategies and implement appropriate processes to manage the safe, efficient and compliant storage and distribution of allnex RM, Intermediates and FG which will support optimal production schedule, maximum service level and minimum costs.

**Responsibilities**:
- Develop a vision and a mission for the global logistic function in order to support allnex's growth strategy.
- Lead and develop a team that focuses on optimizing the storage and the transport of goods in adherence to the highest level of safety & compliance standards.
- Work in close collaboration with Procurement Freight Sourcing team to gain visibility on logistic market constraints and opportunities (e.g. Driver availability, regulatory changes, emerging technologies, and best practices) and the impact potential for the business.
- Develop scenarios to offset potential disruptions (inventory, pre-positioning, alternate ports, etc.).
- Work together with E2E to gain insights on suppliers/customers business reality and include findings when designing processes/making decision, moving progressively to more integration with the upstream and downstream supply chains (joint strategies).
- Collaborate with the CS/Sales, Planning, Procurement, 3PL and all functions of Supply Chain to ensure consistent service and alignment of all towards meeting/exceeding customers needs.
- Develop, implement and manage a smooth import/export process by adequatly staffing the team in terms of expertise and in terms of capacity.
- Ensure, at all time, compliance with laws and regulations.
- In collaboration with Network Optimization and E2E, review and make informative decisions on logistic and warehousing options.
- Accountable for key logistics and warehousing metrics: logistic costs, warehousing costs, others to be defined.
- Serve as focal point for communication both up and down stream to ensure understanding and alignment throughout the organization.
- Work closely with CI/Digital team to identify and implement operational effeciencies, drive best practice sharing and process standardization across all locations.
- Include sustainability considerations into decision making process to support corporate sustainability goals.
- Promote and be internal advocate of safety procedures.
- Manage, guide, and develop direct reports; develop the skill sets of the logistic team members and prepare future leaders for expanded roles.
**Required skills and experience**:
- 10 years of working experience in logistic or supply chain function in an industrial & international environment, with a minimum of 5 years in managerial position.
- Experienced in areas of strategic development and deployment in a changing business environment.
- Harmonized process driver and leader, cultivates a proactive mindset, helps the team navigate through changes and transitions.
- Ability to measure workload, performances vs targets, actual costs vs budget, and make adjustments when needed.
- Problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to manage conflict in a fair and efficient manner.
- APICS or equivalent certification is a definite benefit.
