Chief of Staff

As Chief of Staff, you will act as a strategic right hand to the CEO, driving operational excellence across the organization. You’ll own company-wide planning and reporting processes—from budgeting, OKRs, and revenue operations to data insights, investor relations, and legal coordination—ensuring every function operates with clarity, accountability, and impact.

As a hybrid company, we value in-person collaboration and expect employees to work from our **Munich** office 3 days a week.

**What you will be building**
- Develop a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the company’s short-, mid-, and long-term goals—identifying areas of strength, unlocking growth opportunities, ensuring sound cash management, and supporting capital-raising efforts as needed
- Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and preparing performance reports for the board and senior leadership
- Partner cross-functionally to establish reliable data infrastructure for performance measurement, uncovering trends, and proactively mitigating risks
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors and venture capital firms.
- Prepare clear, compelling financial reports and board presentations
- Implement and oversee internal controls, compliance procedures, and financial governance frameworks
- Initially manage all core accounting functions—including the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll—ensuring operational accuracy
- Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting in close collaboration with external accounting partners, covering monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
- Ensure tax compliance and lead tax planning efforts in partnership with external advisors
- Coordinate legal matters in collaboration with external counsel, particularly around contracts, compliance, and investor relations.

**What you need to succeed**:

- 4-6 years of hands-on operator experience across at least three different organizations, ideally with exposure to fast-paced or high-growth environments
- Proven track record working across key functions including Finance, Legal, Sales, and Customer Success—preferably in a SaaS or tech-driven company
- Demonstrated experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring
- Led company-wide budgeting and OKR processes, ensuring cross-functional alignment and accountability
- Strong analytical capabilities with practical experience collecting and working with data; proficiency in SQL or Python is a plus
- Experienced in preparing reports and communicating financial performance to venture capital firms and other external stakeholders.
