**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

At Synera, we’re redefining engineering software processes with cutting-edge automation and AI technologies. As a growing startup, we thrive on innovation, collaboration, and bold ideas. We are looking for a driven AI Intern to join our talented team and help shape he future of engineering tools.

Our cross-functional AI team - consisting of Moritz, Ram, robert and other software engineers - works closely with customers and the product team to tackle real-world challenges with cutting-edge AI solutions.

What a week at Synera could look like:

- You start your day on Monday with a company wide all hands meeting and a kickoff with Ram to map out your tasks for the week. Maybe you will explore an idea you found on the OpenAI forums and enhance last week’s scripts.
- On Tuesday, you attend a brainstorming session with the Product team, where you discuss possible LLM-based solutions for certain feature requests from customers.
- On Wednesday you attend community events from LangChain, LangFuse or similar to keep yourself up-to-date on recent best practices.
- On Thursday you focus on finishing the Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipeline for our help docs.
- On Friday, you wrap up your week’s result and plan for next steps.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED**
- Even if you don't meet this criteria perfectly but believe you have lots to bring to the role, we encourage you to apply. We know it's tough, but please keep in mind that you don't have to match all the listed requirements exactly to be considered for this role._
- You’re currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science (or a related field) with a specialization in AI.
- You’re proficient in Python.
- You have knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI agents.
- You might be familiar with LLM relevant frameworks and libraries such as LangChain, OpenAI Assistants.
- You’re curious, have a problem-solving attitude with a passion for AI innovation and a readiness to work in a dynamic startup environment.
- You are based in Germany and enrolled at a German university.
