Engineering Team Lead

- Lead an engineering team, planning and ensuring project efficiency and delivery through coordination with other teams.
- Oversee team performance, conduct regular meetings, and provide technical guidance when necessary.
- Monitor execution of the delivery process, ensuring projects follow agile software development principles and are completed timely.
- Address project issues promptly and keep stakeholders updated on project status.
- Spearhead the implementation of top-tier architectural patterns within your team and in cooperation with other teams.
- Be the Sparrings partner for and work closely with product managers and other stakeholders on business and technical challenges.
- Mentor and develop engineers within the team providing support when needed.

**This is what you bring to the table**:

- Ability to communicate, present an argument, and convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
- Understanding of Software Engineering industry best practices in the implementation of technology and team processes and practices.
- Experience in Advanced Object Oriented Analysis, Design & Programming.
- Knowledge and problem solving skills with design patterns.
- 10+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- 7+ years of experience working with statically typed languages, e.g. Node.js with Javascript,Typescript or Go.
- Hands-on experience implementing event-driven architecture, domain-driven design,hexagonal architecture, and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with public cloud services, e.g. AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Bonus Points if you have experience with insurance industry beforehand_
