At Mapp, we’re looking for a hands-on Engineering Team Lead who can inspire and elevate a cross-functional group of Python, Ruby/Rails, and React engineers. In this role you’ll blend people-first leadership with deep technical acumen—owning project planning through delivery, guiding architecture and process improvements, and serving as the technical voice to Product as we expand our data-driven marketing platform. You’ll balance resources, mentor talent, and champion continuous improvement while shaping our technical strategy and roadmaps.

**THE ASSETS YOU BRING TO THE TEAM**:

- Leadership and Management: Lead and mentor a team of engineers fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Oversight: Oversee technical project planning, execution, and delivery to ensure alignment with timelines and organizational standards.
- Technical Guidance: Provide technical expertise and guidance to solve engineering challenges and improve processes.
- Communication: Act as the technical representative to product management for the context domain, while facilitating seamless collaboration and communication across different engineering teams.
- Resource Allocation: Manage resources effectively, prioritizing tasks and balancing the team’s workload to meet project demands.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and drive initiatives for process optimization and innovation.
- Training: Participate in the recruitment process and lead onboarding and training initiatives for new team members.
- Technical Strategy: Contribute to the development of the technical strategy and roadmaps in alignment with organizational goals.
