The responsibility for technical accounting extends mainly to the European markets. Within our hybrid working model you will report to a Head Technical Accounting Life within our Global Life Accounting Department.

Your job
- Assuming responsibility for a part of the Life&Health Accounting, acting as main contact person for Technical Accountants and participating in global automation projects
- Clarifying and coordinating specific accounting issues with relevant experts or stakeholders within Munich Re Munich and international entities
- Taking accountability for the setup, the implementation and execution of the accounting and closing processes
- Coordinating reporting activities and milestones in consultation with various stakeholders

**Profile**:

- University degree in business administration or apprenticeship; more than 2 years of professional experience
- Technical knowledge and confident handling of SAP FS-RI and BO (Business Objects)
- Maintain complex Excel functions, ideally experience with PowerBI
- Profound knowledge of reinsurance contracts and their presentation under HGB; ideally under IFRS17 and IFRS9
- Analytical and conceptual skills combined with problem-solving abilities; ability to explain complex interrelationships in an understandable way
- Distinct willingness for change and overcoming obstacles with high team spirit and enthusiasm
- Very good command of written and spoken English and German
