**ESG Reporting Specialist (M/F/d)**

for the Reinsurance Controlling Division

In the Division Reinsurance Controlling (RIC), the responsibilities for controlling and management reporting are bundled together to provide a uniform controlling process. RIC advises the Reinsurance Committee (RVA), RI-CEO and the RI-CFO in respect of the current economics of the Reinsurance Segment and proper allocation of resources. RIC advises divisional board members and divisional leaders in respect of their operative units. In parallel to the Reinsurance Controlling mission, RIC enables the global provision of structured internal Reinsurance Data as the Global Process Owner for Reporting.

The newly created section “Analytics & ESG Reporting” within RIC will
- On the one hand deliver ad hoc analysis either by focusing on specific business units or the whole Reinsurance Segment. The objective is to deliver quick responses to the current questions driving steering and top-management decisions.
- On the other hand, the section will manage the delivery of Sustainability Reporting KPIs for the reinsurance activities of the Reinsurance Group such as for the EU Taxonomy reporting and Munich Re’s Climate Ambition.

The ESG Reporting Specialist function relates to the second goal of this section (ESG Reporting) and will play a key role in the future (regulatory) reporting process.

The ESG Reporting Specialist will have a similar purpose than a Financial Accountant, but with the focus on sustainability KPIs.

You will be responsible for the timely and correct delivery of sustainability KPIs during the fast close process.

You will be part of a newly created team and work on making ESG measurable.

**YOUR JOB**
- Be a Financial Accountant with a focus on Sustainability KPIs
- Ensure completeness, accuracy and availability of central and local Sustainability Reporting data
- Be the main contact for all processual enquiries from local entities delivering through local tools
- Ensure availability of statement of accountability and qualitative data input from local entities
- Create content for qualitative statements for internal and external reporting
- Ensure adherence to the closing calendar in a fast close environment
- Process and upload data from data warehouse to the company’s group consolidation system
- Prepare the central reinsurance sign-off

**YOUR PROFILE**
- University degree in business administration or equivalent
- Relevant expertise in financial reporting
- Experience using IFRS group consolidation systems in a fast close environment
- Proficient communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset and affinity for excel (can perform complex functions) and other analysis tools
- Ability to navigate in a complex and changing environment
- Very good command of business English
