To strengthen our team we are looking for a qualified and committed university graduate or young professional. The responsibility for technical accounting extends mainly to the European markets. Within our hybrid working model you will report to a Head Technical Accounting Life within our Global Life Accounting Department.

Your job
- Assuming responsibility for the independent reviewing and posting of complex reinsurance statement of accounts
- Quality assuring and analyzing business development as well as ensuring the quarterly financial statements
- Collaborating closely with actuaries and accounting specialists from the life and health insurance division

- Participating in (global) projects for automation and digitalization
- Taking responsibility of a global topic ownership and its worldwide coordination
- Participation in the development of new methods and processes

**Profile**:

- University degree in business administration or apprenticeship, ideally with 1 -3 years of professional experience
- High accounting affinity, very good understanding of numbers and data
- Knowledge of IFRS and HGB desired, ideally with regard to IFRS17 and IFRS9
- Maintain complex Excel spreadsheets, ideally experience with PowerBI
- Distinct willingness for change and overcoming obstacles with high team spirit and enthusiasm
- Problem-solving abilities; ability to explain complex interrelationships in an understandable way
- Very good command of written and spoken English and German
