**About the Role**: The Accounts Payable Global Process Owner (f/m/d) is a key member of the Finance team responsible for overseeing and facilitating the outsourced Accounts Payables Process. In this role, you will focus on identifying, analyzing, and improving general business practices for Accounts Payable. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact between our organization and the external AP service provider, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in all AP-related activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as liaison between the company and the outsourced Accounts Payable service provider.
- Monitor and coordinate AP processes, including invoice processing, payment disbursement and vendor communications
- Ensuring efficiency, accuracy of daily operations while navigating complex vendor inquiries and exceptions
- Reviewing, governing and driving collaboration on invoice payment in order to adhere to company policy and resolve discrepancies as they arise
- Overseeing, governing, and managing payments to vendors in order to make timely payments to vendors and optimize cashflow and early payment opportunities
- Cultivating positive relationships with vendors, while being responsive to any payment related inquiries as they arise
- Generating and analyzing reports to provide insights into cash flow, outstanding liabilities and other relevant financial KPIs
- Identifying, driving, and implementing best practices while staying apprised to industry and function best practice and accounting regulations

**Required Qualifications**:

- 10+ years of experience in accounts payable management
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Experience working with outsourced service providers is preferred.
- Strong understanding of AP principles, financial processes, and internal controls
- Experience leveraging AP automation tools
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills
