Senior Digital Designer

We are looking for an experienced and engaged Senior Digital Designer. In this role, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of designers, copywriters and developers working closely with the Marketing and Growth teams. You will be responsible for creating and assisting in the creation and delivery of a range of Marketing Campaign assets across multiple channels.

**Job responsibilities**
- Ownership for creation and delivery of dynamic creative design work from conception through to production, adhering to brand guidelines. This will involve research, brainstorming and the creation of concepts in collaboration with the marketing team and relevant stakeholders, from an initial brief to final sign off. Liaising with colleagues in the wider UK Creative Studio Squad to ensure a similar look and feel. The work will involve a mixture of activating bigger agency-led campaigns and some conceptual workload, based on the direction given by the Brand and Campaign squads.
- Effectively communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale both verbally and visually with a convincing and engaging presentation style.
- Ensure design guidelines, systems and other best practices are followed throughout the design process. Delivering all designs to meet the firm wide accessibility standards.
- Quality check and proof all design and production output to ensure completed work is error-free, meets the brief and achieves the desired design standards and brand guidelines.
- Make decisions and move quickly - don’t be afraid to fail fast, learn and start again whilst ensuring customers are at the heart of everything we do.
- Work with Compliance and Legal stakeholders to maintain full awareness and understanding of appropriate legislative approvals needed for relevant channels, ensuring all materials are consistent with legal conditions and codes of practice.

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Experience working in an in-house design studio or creative agency at senior-weight level for around 7+ years, delivering comprehensive large scale multi-channel projects with a strong consumer focus.
- Excellent oral and written German and English skills at a level that allows effective communication and collaboration in a fast-paced environment, conveying intended experiences and solutions to stakeholders of different seniority across the company.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating visual, graphical and marketing design projects with meticulous attention to detail and good project management processes, with a passion for maintaining brand consistency
- Expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). After Effects animation is a must.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills. Remaining calm under pressure with a positive attitude and able to respond quickly to urgent requests and prioritise in an agile way with all open projects
- Flexibility / adaptability (ability to change direction based upon team and stakeholder consensus)
- An excellent team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, cross-functional environment

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Relevant experience in a banking or financial industry is a plus
- Experience leading teams and mentoring team members
- Experience defining standards and design processes
- Experience of working in Agile teams - Familiarity with Atlassian suite of software (Jira & Confluence) is desirable
