Team Lead Technical Operations

Our TechOps Team is seeking a Team Lead Technical Operations (f/m/d). This is a new role, reporting into the Director of InfoSec. It’s an opportunity to manage a TechOps team within a well-funded, fast-growth Fintech SaaS business. You’ll be leading current TechOps team and owning all TechOps issues Internally and also managing external parties.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Strategic project planning
- Setting standards on how to implement and run technical solutions in a sustainable and scalable manner
- Team leading incl. coaching/ mentoring and setting learning & development plans
- Concepts and documentation for security and technical processes
- Build internal service organisation for IT support and technical operations
- Stakeholder management (auditors, customers, partners)
- Cross-department collaboration
- Quarterly planning
- Budgeting/ calculation and prioritization of initiatives
- License management

About you

We think you’ll need the following experience and qualifications to succeed in the role:

- c. 5+ years experience in Tech
- c. 2+ years experience in leading and building an effective & efficient tech teams
- Comfortable with speaking to auditors, presenting to upper management or customers
- Experience running a technical operations team and running agile IT service management in a cloud native environment
- Understanding of automation and when to implement it effectively
- Experience in a FinTech, regulated environment is ideal, although not essential
- Coding skills (e.g. Python) is seen as a benefit

- Highly analytical and structured way of working: understand complex issues quickly and be able to translate to the business in a common language
- Collaborative communicator: continuously provide feedback to the team, maintaining strong collaboration throughout the organisation.
- Hands-on mentality: problem solving skills and hands-on ability, especially Infosec and technical issues.
