To support our team, we are looking for a full-time Strategic Purchaser (M/F/d) to join us at our headoffice in Mönchengladbach.

Strategic Purchaser (M/F/d)

**Your Main Tasks**:

- Development, implementation, and monitoring of an effective procurement strategy supporting company objectives and cost goals.
- Identification, selection, and evaluation of suppliers. Building and maintaining long-term partnerships to ensure the supply chain.
- Conducting contract negotiations with suppliers.
- Monitoring market developments, prices, and innovations to stay informed about the latest developments and gain competitive advantages.
- Continuously seeking opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement in the procurement process.
- Ensuring compliance with legal regulations and company policies in the procurement area.
- Preparation and development of reports and analyses, as well as collection of KPIs.
- Close cooperation with other departments such as production, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth coordination of processes.
- Order placement, monitoring of delivery dates, and ensuring material availability considering the best conditions in terms of quality, price, and delivery time.
- Monitoring and adherence to the procurement budget.
- Identification of cost-saving opportunities.

Strategic Purchaser (M/F/d)

**Your Profile**:

- Successfully completed studies in business administration or commercial vocational training with further education in business administration.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as assertiveness and persuasiveness.
- Strong performance and results orientation, as well as enjoyment in quickly adapting to changes and aligning one's own entrepreneurial actions accordingly.
- Strong analytical and conceptual understanding with the aim of continuous optimization of the value chain.
- Independent, structured, and target-oriented way of working combined with a high level of team spirit, negotiation skills, and confident appearance.
- Very good knowledge of common MS Office products as well as SAP.
- Negotiation-proof English skills in speech and writing.
