**_ Trainee, Portfolio Management, _**_Dusseldorf_**_, _**_Germany_
The Portfolio Management team structures and prices all non-standard commodity contracts and manages the resulting position. The portfolio consists of tailor-made short
- and long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and long-term sales contracts to large end customers as well as other non-standard flexible and structured wholesale products in Germany. The team is also responsible for the sales trading desk with team members located in Düsseldorf. As a Trainee in the Portfolio Management Team, you will:

- Gain first-hand and in-depth understanding of power markets and related commodities with a focus on renewable energy and learn the fundamentals of energy trading.
- Participate in managing Germany’s leading portfolio for market access and PPAs and closely work with fellow portfolio managers, analysts, originators, and key account managers in our origination team.
- Support the business with analysing our large portfolio of intermittent renewable generation and flexible generation. Develop a market view and derive trading strategies.
- Fluency in English is required, _proficiency in German would be an advantage._

**_ Trainee, Origination,_**_ Dusseldorf_, Germany
The German Origination team concludes non-standard, structured and often complex transactions in wholesale energy markets. We cooperate closely with Statkraft’s trading desks and the other regional Origination teams to offer pan-European tailored energy solutions. As trainee in the Origination Team, you will:

- Gain first-hand and in-depth understanding of power markets and related commodities with a focus on renewable energy.
- Support originators through the entire PPA process learning how they Identify, develop, negotiate, and execute complex structured energy transactions with embedded optionality with a focus on renewable PPAs
- Gain an understanding of entire deal approval process with all internal stakeholders
- Support and automate activities through improving system and reporting
- Fluency in English is required, _proficiency in German would be an advantage._

Trainee, digitalization in Trading & Origination, _**_Oslo or Dusseldorf_
Our Trading teams engage in standardised and customised contracts for power, gas and oil, and our Origination teams help supply customers with a broad range of tailor-made solutions and services for utilities and industrial purposes. As part of the Trading & Origination Department, the Digitalization Unit is an exciting division with the specific remit of driving forward T&O’s digitalisation agenda. The Digitalization Unit is playing a crucial and fundamental role in enabling that the Trading & Origination Department delivers on its strategic targets of expanding both the proprietary trading and customer service businesses. As trainee in the Trading & Origination Team, you will:

- Support the development and continuous improvement of analytical tools for modelling, pricing and portfolio management.
- Closely cooperate with the commercial units to capture and translate their requirements into technical specifications.
- Work in close partnership with the IT organization on developing and implementing new technology solutions and tools supporting T&Os commercial and portfolio management processes.

Southern European Origination consists of regional Origination teams located in Madrid, Milan and Paris. The team focus on originating, structuring, and negotiating value enhancing new transactions. Your home department will be chosen as a best fit to your profile and interests. As a trainee in the Southern European Origination, you will:

- Learn the A-Z about the fundamentals of power markets, power trading and energy risk with a special focus on renewable energy.
- Contribute to the origination, structuring, negotiation and execution of large wholesale electricity transactions such as Power Purchase Agreements for renewable energy projects or green structured products for corporate and industrial clients.
