Skeleton has grown from 4 people to over 190 and has raised 160 million EUR financing to scale up manufacturing and execute the ambitious technology road map from high energy ultracapacitors to Superbatteries.
Skeleton Technologies is already successfully delivering products to leading customers ranging from Škoda, Danfoss, Medcom, Wrightbus to leading German Automotives and European Space Agency. The company's current ultracapacitors have the highest power density in the market and the technology is mature evidence by strong customer contracts and IATF 16949 automotive certification.
But we have achieved only 0.1% of our potential. In order to achieve the 99.9%, we are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist who truly believes that the world needs Special Forces to fight climate change and reduce CO2 emissions.
Aufgaben
The main responsibility of the procurement specialist is to ensure that the supply chain needs of Skeleton Technologies are met in a timely and cost-effective manner. The procurement specialist reviews costs, develop relationships with vendors and suppliers and offers suggestions for where and how much material and supplies to buy.
- Project purchasing (from supplier sourcing to contract negotiation).
- Material long-term planning (including contracting with suppliers based on risk assessments).
- Responsibility for the whole process chain for your products.
- Maintenance of Master Data.
- Coordinating supplier communication and support of the R&D department.
- Active communication with production, development, quality, and sales.
- Working on forward costing model to keep it up to date in order for sales to be able to do forward pricing for customers.
- Identify and realize portfolio optimization.
- Always searching for potential improvements.
Qualifikation
- 3-5 years experience in a similar field.
- Commercial qualification (Business administrator, Industrial clerk) / Bachelor.
- Experiences with ERP systems.
- Good English and German skills (verbally & written).
- Understanding of technical drawings.
- Contract negotiation and communication/ general business understanding.
- General technical understanding of our products.
- Business thinking and analytical skills.
