**The Role**
As a Research Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in the sensory and consumer analysis team. You will be responsible for the reception, handling, and preparation of product samples for sensory and consumer tests. Your support will extend to various test setups, data processing, and facility management, ensuring smooth execution of research activities within the Global Sensory & Consumer Science (GSCS) team.
**Principle Accountabilities**
- Receive and log all product samples for sensory and consumer analysis.
- Prepare samples from Imperial Brands' portfolio for various tests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support sample preparation for ongoing panel tests, trainings, and consumer research, including room setup and panellist management.
- Manage the reception desk during consumer research testing sessions.
- Ensure proper sample storage, handling, and disposal according to company protocols.
- Assist in creating work instructions and standard operating procedures.

- Assist in the setup and cleaning of testing facilities.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and order supplies as needed.
**Skills and Experience Required**
**Required**:
- Experience in handling different sample materials.
- Completed training as a laboratory assistant or chemical-technical assistant (CTA), or a comparable qualification.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently, with a structured, focused, and team-oriented approach.
- English proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
**Preferred**:
- Interest in sensory product market research.
- Knowledge of chemical and sensory analysis.

**Working Conditions**:
- Full-time office attendance is required, with no home office possibilities.
- Flexible working hours based on consumer attendance, ranging between 08:00 AM and 08:00 PM.
