Who you are
This position is to be filled as soon as possible with different hourly models in part time or full time for an unlimeted period.
Payment according to the collective agreement “Groß- und Außenhandel NRW, Tarifguppe V” + 13th salary as Christmas bonus + holiday bonus + 15% staff discount and much more.
- You have a university degree or customs education or equivalent work experience
- You have three or more years of experience from import / export operations
- You have knowledge of country customs legal regulations
- You have strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
- You have a good ability to document and communicate in a clear way
- You have strong PC skills and proficiency with MS Office tools
- You are fluent in English and German (written / spoken)
- You have understanding and knowledge about supply chain operations
- You enjoy working independently and in a flexible way
A day in your life with us
- You take care of the preparation and submission of customs import and export declarations
- You manage and maintain daily interaction with customs authorities including inspections
- You manage and control local simplification procedures in daily customs operations
- You secure compliance in every customs declaration or any customs related process
- You handle the daily administrative customs work
- You cooperate with supply chain partners within INGKA and Inter IKEA
- You proactively work with other departments to ensure timely and compliant customs clearance with German Customs or other governmental agencies
- You assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as assigned
