MRO DISTRIBUTION SPECIALIST - JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title: European MRO Distribution SpecialistLocation: Home office-based (with local contract through one of our European subsidiaries) Department: EMEA DistributionReports to: Director of Distribution – EMEAAbout the Role:We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented European MRO Distribution Specialist to join our team. This position plays a critical role in expanding our footprint in the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) distribution market across Europe.Reporting to the Director of Distribution – EMEA, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing business with MRO-focused distribution partners and identifying new growth opportunities within the channel.Key Responsibilities:MRO Channel Development:Analyze the existing MRO distributor base and market landscape to identify and prioritize growth opportunities. Develop and implement plans to expand franchise agreements and strengthen partnerships.Business & Sales Strategy:Drive sales growth through effective account planning, opportunity pipeline development, and execution of go-to-market strategies tailored to MRO channel partners.Collaboration & Cross-Functionality:Work closely with theMarket Business Development Managers and Marketing team to align technologies and product portfolios best suited for theMRO market.Product & Channel Enablement:Support product launches and promotional campaigns into the MRO channel. Ensure partners are equipped with thelatest marketing materials, product training, and sales tools.Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with distribution partners through regular in-person visits, virtual meetings, and joint customer engagements.CRM & Reporting:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system, including sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions.Required Qualifications & Skills:• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally within the MRO distribution environment or related industrial sector.• Proven ability to grow and manage distribution channel relationships, with a strongunderstanding of indirect sales dynamics.• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; able to influence and build trust at multiple levels.• A self-starter with a results-driven mindset, able to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.• Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly within Europe.• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are highly valued.• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.What We Offer:• An exciting opportunity to shape theMRO distribution strategy in a high-growth segment.• Collaborative and international work environment.• Competitive compensation package.• Flexibility with a home-office based structure and local employment contract.About Us:Amphenol, leading manufacturer of interconnect solutions and connectors, serving OEMs directly and through a robust network of distribution partners.
