Evmos is the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) Hub on Cosmos and enables developers to launch apps that run smart contracts across any number of EVM and Cosmos-based blockchains. It makes that process as simple and seamless as possible by allowing developers to continue creating apps in programming languages like Solidity or Vyper they're already accustomed to in the Ethereum ecosystem. **What is Operations at Evmos?**: Imagine what it would be like to join an innovative, fun, remote-first, fully financed team of (_slightly_) nerdy techies. It's even better than that. Our team is focused on building Evmos, the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) Hub on Cosmos. We love what we do (building high tech for techies), and apparently so does our community. We have a vision (=product roadmap) what we believe we need to build - to do that we need someone who can help our leadership team remove roadblocks, and solve some of the trickiest operating challenges to make a remote blockchain company work. Operations at Evmos is a truly cross-functional role that reaches across multiple teams including Finance, Accounting, People Operations and Legal. Our objective or "North Star" is the alignment of our team on vision strategic intent and roadmap, and to ensure the efficient execution of daily tasks and activities across all Evmos teams. **About the role**: We are looking for an** Operations Associate** to join our Operations Team. In this role, you will be a major contributor to running daily operations across our entities. You work closely with Evmos Operations colleagues and cross-functional team members from People Operations, Business Development, Finance, Accounting and Engineering. You will solve Business, People and Legal challenges and support the executive team of Evmos by engaging in special, high velocity projects that will range across all functional areas of the company, while making sure that our day-to-day operations run smoothly. **What you'll be doing**: - Establish and take ownership of new Operations processes across our entities, especially in People Operations and Finance - Assist Operations Leadership with special projects across Legal, Finance, and People-Ops-related functions - Run external supplier negotiations (e.g. SaaS companies) for Evmos entities - Representation of Evmos at conferences, in our digital channels and communities - Define strategic priorities for yourself and the rest of the team to bring more value to the Evmos ecosystem **What you will learn**: - You'll get familiarity with blockchain technologies and to a point where you can develop an intensive depth of knowledge of them. - Developing an active and prosperous ecosystem of value creation on the Evmos blockchain. - Bringing new projects, brands and users to the Evmos Ecosystem. **Nice to Have**: - Understanding of Web3 and DeFi - Speaking German is a plus - Presentation-building experience (Google Sheets, Powerpoint)
