**OPAL-RT Technologies is looking for a Firmware (FPGA) Development and Test Specialist**

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Develop and modify bitstreams on Xilinx FPGAs for I/O handling, communication interfaces and specific customer requirements
- Develop tests, test models and execute tests to validate bitstream functionality and robustness
- Document bitstream functionality, model structure, test results
- Maintain a database of bitstreams to ensure avoid redevelopment and make new development efficient through code reuse

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or master’s in electrical engineering, computer science/engineering or other relevant domain with proven experience in FPGA bitstream development
- Relevant experience in VHDL coding, Xilinx XSG/Vivado, Matlab/Simulink
- Fluency in English and German
