System Administrator for Test Environment

We are currently looking for a System administrator for our test environment to join our 30-strong Quality Team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing a modern IT infrastructure for our test environment.
- As part of our highly valued software testing team, which is critical to ensuring the quality of our products, you will take responsibility for our test environment and grow with us.
- You decide where you work - be it from your home in Germany, our office in Nuremberg or anywhere in between. Our team works in a flexible remote setup, but also meets regularly at our headquarters.-
YOUR TASKS
- You will be responsible for the design, implementation and operation of a modern IT infrastructure for a test environment with customer-facing reference systems
- You will ensure that the test environment is reliable, stable and usable at all times
- You are responsible for clarifying errors and faults in the test environments - our software supports you in this process
- You work closely with test and release management, the IT department and the test and development teams
- You will drive the automated creation of test systems
YOUR PROFILE
- You have completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or worked as as System administrator
- You have a general understanding of test management and the software development lifecycle
- You have experience with virtualised environments in vSphere and container virtualisation with Docker
- Your understanding of hardware, software, network and data configurations helps you to always maintain an overview
- You like to communicate in German and English and enjoy working as a link between departments
