- Role Overview:
- Huntsman Advanced Materials is looking for a Technical Business Development Engineer composites to support our automotive team. The position is a full-time contract, based at our Advanced Materials European home based in a European country.
Role Responsibilities:
- As a Technical Business Development Composites, you will be responsible for:
- Acting as the main technical point of contact for assigned accounts and prospects.- Establishing and fostering strong commercial and technical relationships. Supporting commercial tasks, including Key Account planning, RFQs, pricing, forecasting, and complaint resolution.- Developing and executing account strategies, managing business operations, and analyzing sales potential.- Working in cross-functional projects and teams, bringing the customer’s voice into the internal organization.- Ensuring compliance with Huntsman’s safety and regulatory guidelines.
Experience and Competencies:
- What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemical, composite process or material engineering Demonstrating a strong commercial mindset, e.g., respective qualifications or job experience in a commercial function like sales or key account management Strong communicator, able to distil complex information to short and precise reports- Entrepreneurial, results driven and autonomous in the approach with strong organizational and negotiation skills with high degree of service and customer orientation- Ready to travel up to 50% of the time.- Fluent in English, German is a strong asset
